What we process

Your event calculations run entirely in your browser. The plan itself — your drink choices, quantities, cocktail menu and shopping list — is never sent to any server and is not stored beyond your session. The Excel file is built on your device too.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU servers) to count page views and a handful of product events, such as starting a calculation or opening the unlock dialog. It runs without cookies: nothing is written to your device and no profile follows you between visits. Two of those events carry a little context so we can see what people plan for — the guest count and the bar type — and none of them carries your plan, your cocktail names or anything you could be identified by.

Advertising is not active on this site. If it is switched on (for example Google AdSense), the providers may set cookies subject to your consent, and they will be listed here before that happens.

Session cookie and sign-in

When you buy or sign in, we set one strictly necessary cookie (pourbrief_session) that lasts up to a year and cannot be read by scripts on the page. It only recognizes your purchase; it does not track you across other sites and needs no consent banner because the service cannot unlock your access without it. Sign-in codes are sent to you by email through Brevo and stored, hashed, alongside your email address by our payment processor Stripe. Your browser also keeps a small local cache of your access status for up to 24 hours, so the app still works during a brief outage on our end.

Payments

Payment for PourBrief Pro and the Event Pass is handled by Stripe on their own checkout page. We never see or store your card details; Stripe processes the payment and tells us only whether the session was paid. Your unlocked access follows the email you paid with: our server checks your purchase with Stripe when you visit, and nothing about your entitlement is stored on our side. Stripe's own privacy policy covers the data you enter on their page.

There is no password account. Signing in means confirming your email with a one-time code, as described in the section above; we hold no profile beyond what Stripe keeps for your purchase.
